How to make Krobo beads

I use authentic Ghana Krobo beads to craft my stretch bracelets. The beads are made individually from crushed recycled glass. Beadmaking in Ghana using recycled glass is a popular craft industry in Krobo Odumase in south-eastern Ghana.  Crushed glass is heated at very high temperatures inside clay molds. You can buy Krobo beads in many different colours, shapes and sizes.
